East Bay Bazaar

On Sunday, December 3rd, from 10:30am-1pm, SRVIC, MCC and NABIC (North American Bangladeshi Islamic Community) will be hosting a private Bazaar for refugee and other deserving families. Clothing, household items, and other school essentials will be available for families at no cost.
We are looking for volunteers to help on the day of the event from 9:30am-2pm to support with tasks such as set up, clean up, overseeing of different stations, replenishing inventory, translating, and assisting families with general shopping and finding sizes etc.
We are also in need of volunteer drivers to transport families to and from the event. Most families do not have cars and the warehouse is not accessible via public transportation.
The Bazaar will not be held at MCC. It will be held in the parking lot of our new event space at:
5750 Sonoma Drive Suite C, Pleasanton.
This is an outdoor event. Please plan accordingly. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, dressing in layers and bringing a hat, and water bottle. Lunch will be provided for volunteers.
All volunteers must be 12 years of age or older unless accompanied and supervised by their parent for the entirety of the event. Please fill out one form per volunteer.
