COME LEARN TO CODE with the COMMUNITY… WHAT IS “MUSLIM COMPUTER CODING CLUB”? MCCC is a space where Muslim boys and girls can join peers and learn Computer Science through activities as a whole-group and get to know each other!! Members celebrate successes and strengths, reflect on progress, and solve problems together. We meet every Friday right after the 2nd Khutbah for Young Muslims at SRVIC. Meeting Breakdown: - Ice Breaker Activities: These activities help break the ice and enable members to get to know each other and form groups.
- Team Work Activities: These projects and activities build Clubs’ teamwork and communication skills.
- Tech Guest Spotlight: Meet amazing local Engineers from our Community and get mentored on your project.
WHAT WILL I LEARN? - 5-8th Grade Club help build the foundational skills
and understanding of computer science concepts through reading discussion and coding activities. - 9- 12th Grade Club: Our High school Club will help you make a direct impact on your local community in a positive way through code.
You will learn how to code in Scratch, Python, Swift, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript by building games and apps for your local non-profits. Registration is required
